I'm using Rowan's 4-ply Cashsoft which SHOULD be giving me the correct gauge, but in fact . . . not. (But that's just me!) I'm getting about 4.5 stitches to an inch instead of the 7 on the label, and I'm using size 2 needles. The yarn--on the plus side--is just lovely. Soft. Great color. Very nice to work with.

I had planned to use the Debbie Bliss baby cashmerino that I have in color 607 purple, However, I just realized I don't have enough. So....I Really don't want to buy a different yarn, so, dare I order more and try to mix dye lots? I haven't swatched yet. Just bought the IK mag with pattern yesterday.

just finished swatching the DB baby cashmerino and the guage is perfect. And, the turquoise that I ordered for the contrast came today, so I think I will get this started while on vacay next week. We leave early in the AM to go bicycle riding in WI for all of next week.
